Dear Cardinals Family members,
I hope you are all well and have been enjoying some great baseball and time with family and friends.
The Kensington Baseball Club is always looking for new and exciting ways to develop, grow and improve baseball. This year, we are looking at potentially introducing something a little different.
Some of you may know about the varying levels of Pathway Programs that Baseball SA have to offer (from emerging talent to elite). Kensington are considering offering similar programs which could start from this season’s end. The Board is excited about the opportunity this presents to our members from our juniors right through to our senior Division 1 teams.
The plans are in the early stages still and are based on developing young players having options for them to start their pathways to higher level baseball such as Charter, State, National representation and beyond. Kensington has been very successful in developing high level talent and has always had high involvement at these levels. There is no better example than that of our very own Alistair Tanner who just recently left Australia to start his professional career in the United States.
For us to gauge whether this will be a feasible program to offer, we would like to seek expressions of interest from you so we can begin building the structure of the program and reaching out to high level coaches. We look forward to your response by Friday 21st of February 2025 to your respective coordinators.
